Spirit vs. Flesh

But I say walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality..." Galatians 5:16-19

My dearest friends...the Spirit and the flesh battle within us, but we must choose to feed our Spirit that we may beat the flesh! We are conquerors through CHRIST! Our flesh wages a war within us to give into to sexual sin, but through prayer, daily Bible reading, and a commitment in our hearts and minds, we can defeat our own flesh. We can CHOOSE not to get caught up in sexual sin! We can choose to feed our Spirit! WE can choose a better way of living...Christ's way!
